MONIVONG HOSPITAL
Work with Sick Prisoners began in 2002 when those beginning to become involved in prison ministry were asked to visit the local prisoner's hospital to see what they could do. Initially visitation was limited to 10 minutes per week, and the only patients there were all dying with little or no care. Over time, PFC was permitted to spend longer there more often, bathing people through the bars and praying for the patients. Then PFC proposed renovations of the cells and the plumbing and raised the funds for this. Today, the place is brighter, we are permitted to visit for several hours every day. 20 people died at the hospital during 2006, at least 15 of those not only receiving daily care but also receiving Christ before their death.

CC3 LONG TERM MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON
- medic programme
This is a prison that is largely isolated, 5 hours from Phnom Penh and near the border with Vietnam. Here, men are isolated from families who are relied upon to bring in supplementary food and money. The prison also runs on a very small budget. PFC has education programmes in the prison, and it soon became apparent that the men were in very poor health. PFC now employs a medic who travels with a local pastor to the prison weekly to conduct checks on about 60 men, also providing necessary medicinces.
