PFC Projects
There is much that needs to be done in Cambodian prisons and PFC is currently working in 5 different areas. The two main areas are Education and Reintegration. PFC is the main provider of Education in the prisons and is currently the only provider of reintegration and release services to both male and female prisoners.
There are of course many other needs outside of these two areas and PFC is continually facing the challenge of making decisions on and finding the funds for other areas of need that cry out for PFC intervention. To this end "Freedom Project" is in the developing stage with the opening of Michael House, a short term stay, safe home for prisoners' children at risk of abuse, trafficking and no education. Freedom is also working with families outside the prisons to support them with food, medical and education supplies when the the bread winner is in prison. A new partnership with an arm of Hagar International, 'Fresh Start', will see exciting opportunities for women in prison.
PFC currently operates the following 5 projects. You can find more information on each project by following the menu links under - Projects - listed above.
