PFC Feeding Programme
Provincial prisons that are isolated from a main centre will often face food shortages for the prisoners. Because of the low level of allowance per prisoner, inmates rely on family members visiting and bringing food to supplement the prison meals. Where prisons are far away from a main centre, or in places where the general population is very poor, inmates do not receive this care. PFC has established a basic supplementary food programme in CC3 long term maximum security prison, and in Mondulkiri provincial prison. This programme is implemented by local; partner churches who prepare and deliver the 'nutritional dessert' either on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
