Bible and Discipleship
Prison Fellowship is permitted to teach Bible classes in several prisons for those interested. In Cambodia's long term maximum security prison a volunteer pastor teaches a Bible course to 1040 men per week from outside their cells using a giant whiteboard and a megaphone. However, in the other prisons we conduct regular classes with 15-30 students several times a week. These students will often take what they learn back into their cells to share with others there. Some have even established real live 'cell churches'!
An exciting recent development is being permitted to start a second level discipleship course for those in the first level who wish to continue in their faith.
