Christmas Project
This is a seasonal project which kicks into gear in September and closes in January. Christmas 2006 saw us reaching 8,000 prisoners with the gospel, drama, songs, and food parcels over a period of several weeks. The programme was held in 14 prisons and enlisted the help of 16 churches around the country, plus the entire PFC staff.
Pastor Barnabus, one of Cambodia's most well known pastors, who himself was imprisoned for his faith in another country, is one of the pastors who speaks to the groups of prisoners - gripping their attention with his testimony, humour and unique way of presenting the gospel. (See Below)
This project requires about US$8,000 to run - that is only $1 per prisoner! Would you like to be a part of this? Would you like to make a donation towards this outreach? The results are short term (provision of basic food), medium term (people receive the gospel and also get leaflets regarding the release services) and eternal (Life in Christ).
